Community Trees

Trees add environmental and aesthetic value to communities; with mature tall trees valued at $1,000 to over $10,000 each, depending on condition. For homeowners, web tools based upon the USDA's Forest Service, such as https://www.itreetools.org/ can help to understand the benefit of trees in their yards.

Our Association has lost numerous trees over the years, and is developing a five year plan to replace some of the trees. Please list up to three areas you'd like to see prioritized to replace missing trees below:

Fiber Optics

The HOA Board is evaluating interest in bringing fiber optic internet service to our community. Several service providers have expressed interest in installing fiber. The installation could occur through one of two general methods:

  • Using existing underground conduit infrastructure, or

  • Micro-trenching, which involves cutting narrow trenches along streets or near property lines to install cable.

The HOA has not approved any provider or installation plan at this time. Impact on streets and buried infrastructure has not been researched at this point. Your feedback will help the Board understand community interest and concerns before moving forward.

Would you like to have fiber optic internet service available to your home?
Yes — I want fiber available to my home.
Maybe — I need more information before deciding.
Option 3No — I’m satisfied with current internet options.
If installing fiber required micro-trenching along streets or near your property, would you support that method?
Yes — I support trenching if it enables fiber access.
Maybe — I would support it if the disruption is minimal and the work is well-managed.
No — I prefer that existing conduit infrastructure be used only.
Which of the following are most important to you when considering fiber installation? (Select up to two)

Budget and Reserve Study

Have you read and understood the Reserve Study and 2026 Budget?

Cost Savings

The Association has paid for pet waste removal since at least 2015, and will pay over $4000 this year for pet waste removal. Do you want to continue to have Association funds spent for this purpose?
No, pet owners should pick up after their pets in consideration of the well-being of the community
Yes, the Association should pay for a third party to clean up after pets in the common areas of the community on a weekly basis.
